Occupational Health and Safety Management System Requirements – BS OHSAS 18001

BS OHSAS 18001 is an occupational health and safety standard against which organisations management systems can be assessed and certified.
OHSAS 18001 is compatible with ISO 9001:2000 (Quality) and ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental) management systems standards, in order to facilitate the integration of quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management
systems.

The current version of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 will soon to be replaced by ISO 45001. This new standard is presently under development with publication expected in October 2016.
